Meet Maverick, a 5-year-old mustang gelding with a personality that's impossible not to love. This sweet boy is the definition of an "in-your-pocket" horse and has genuinely never met a stranger. Whether you're in the barn, pasture, or working around the ranch, Maverick wants to be part of whatever you're doing. In fact, he's so brave and curious that he'll even sneak up on you while you're running a chainsaw!

Maverick is confident, level-headed, and not easily bothered by new sights or sounds. He walks, trots, and lopes comfortably in the round pen and is progressing nicely under saddle. He currently walks and trots well with a rider and is still learning to consistently pick up the lope under saddle.

He stands quietly for grooming, including fly spray, tacking up, and mounting. Maverick is barefoot and trims well without the need for sedation. He's been on several trail rides and has handled them very well, showing a willing and easygoing attitude.

His one quirky habit? Every now and then, Maverick decides it's the perfect time for a nap and may lay down unexpectedly. It's never been an issue beyond giving everyone a good laugh and is simply part of his unique personality.
