Sedona $5,000
Sedona is a 16-year-old red roan Mustang from New Mexico with a steady, willing temperament that makes her a standout partner for riders of all levels. Previously used in our beginner lesson program, she has consistently proven herself to be reliable, patient, and trustworthy.
Standing at 15hh with a strong, classic Mustang build, Sedona offers a smooth walk, trot, and lope, making her an especially comfortable ride. She has more “whoa” than “go,” preferring to take things at an easy pace—ideal for beginners, nervous riders, or anyone looking for a calm trail companion.
Sedona does well in a mixed herd and is currently pastured with both mares and geldings. While she may be slightly opinionated when meeting new geldings, she settles in quickly and generally yields to others, sitting lower in the herd’s pecking order.
On the ground, Sedona is respectful and well-mannered. She stands quietly for grooming, tacking, mounting, dismounting, and untacking. She knows how to lunge, yield her forequarters and hindquarters, back up, and lower her head on cue. For farrier visits, she does best with light sedation, and we recommend front shoes to ensure her continued comfort.
Under saddle, Sedona is versatile and unflappable. She rides Western, bareback, and even double with ease. Safe, steady, and dependable, she earns the title of kid-safe, grandma-safe, boyfriend-safe, and husband-safe.
Sedona is up to date on vaccinations and Coggins and ready to make a wonderful addition to the right home.
